Metro Channel Earns Triple Honors at 21st Gawad Tanglaw

Metro Channel has scored three major wins at this year’s Gawad Tanglaw for its lifestyle shows “Beached,” “Metro Home,” and “It’s A Small World.” 

The channel’s home design show “Metro Home,” hosted by Anton Barretto and Jessica Kienle-Maxwell, has clinched the Best TV Lifestyle Program recognition from the prestigious academe-based award-giving body. 

“Beached” host Marc Nelson is named Best TV Lifestyle Program Host for his spirited and adventure-filled hosting of the travel show, which spotlights stunning beach destinations worldwide while championing sustainability and eco-tourism.

Meanwhile, “It’s A Small World” is recognized as Best TV VLOG Series. The show is led by social media personality Small Laude and details her explorations here and abroad. 

Gawad Tanglaw’s awarding ceremony for its 21st Gawad Parangal para sa Sining at Kultura will be held on December 17.
