ONE OR EIGHT Takes ‘Yellow Brick Road’ Across Four Countries in New Music Video Ahead of Southeast Asian Tour

ONE OR EIGHT took the long way around the world for the music video to “Yellow Brick Road”, the ending theme for Season 2 of the TV anime Black Clover. The eight members split into three teams, travelled from Mongolia’s sand dunes to the otherworldly scenery of Cappadocia in Turkey, and met again in Japan at the end.

Written specifically for Black Clover Season 2, “Yellow Brick Road” also marks ONE OR EIGHT’s first song performed with Japanese lyrics. Its message of pursuing dreams alongside friends, even through uncertainty and personal struggles, reflects both the anime’s world and the group’s own journey under their motto, “BET ON YOURSELF.”

The music video unfolds as a road movie under the concept “This is our journey around the world.” Filmed across Mongolia, Thailand, Turkey and Japan, it follows the eight members as they split into three teams to explore vast landscapes and dreamlike scenery.

YUGA, REIA and TAKERU venture across Mongolia’s grasslands and sand dunes, while MIZUKI, SOUMA and TSUBASA take in Thailand’s lush landscapes and lakes. In Turkey, NEO and RYOTA appear against the surreal rock formations of Cappadocia. Alongside the sweeping scenery, candid moments and casual interactions reveal a more relaxed side of the members away from the stage.

The journey culminates in Japan, where all eight members reunite and walk forward together. Their return brings the video’s central idea into focus: the road to a dream may take everyone in different directions, but the journey is shaped by the people who share it.

About ONE OR EIGHT

ONE OR EIGHT is an eight-member boy group comprising MIZUKI, NEO, REIA, RYOTA, SOUMA, TAKERU, TSUBASA and YUGA, named after the Japanese idiom “ichi ka bachi ka” (“all or nothing”). Guided by their motto “BET ON YOURSELF,” the group has quickly emerged as one of Japan’s most exciting new acts on the global stage.

Since debuting in 2024 with Ryan Tedder and David Stewart-produced single “Don’t Tell Nobody,” ONE OR EIGHT have steadily built international momentum. Their collaboration with Big Sean, “KAWASAKI (with Big Sean),” reached No. 5 on the U.S. iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap chart, while “TOKYO DRIFT” generated over 200,000 TikTok UGC posts and 300 million views, earning them a record number of appearances on the U.S. Mediabase Top 40 chart for a Japanese boy group.

The group has since been named one of Nikkei Entertainment!’s 100 New Leading Artists, received the Upcoming Dance & Vocal Group award at MTV VMAJ, and became the first Japanese boy group to walk the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards. In 2026, they wrapped up their first-ever ONE OR EIGHT 1st LIVE TOUR -GATHER-, performing across 10 cities in North and South America as they continue taking their music from Tokyo to the world.
