Trisha Denise Puts Self-Respect at the Heart of New Song ‘Just In Case’
Kapamilya artist Trisha Denise captures that turning point of finally recognizing one’s worth in “Just In Case,” her new single under StarPop.
Blending pop sensibilities with R&B influences, “Just In Case” explores the emotional gray area of being kept around as a fallback option, choosing not to settle anymore and instead choosing self-respect.
Trisha wrote the Filipino-English song, produced by ABS-CBN Music creatives, content, and operations head Jonathan Manalo together with supervising producer and StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos.
One of today’s prolific contemporary singer-songwriters, Trisha released her debut album “Piece of the Puzzle” in 2021 and the six-track EP “Simula ng Wakas”” in 2023 featuring “Mas Mabuti Pa.” Her songs include “Mahalaga,” featured in the film “Between Maybes,” and “Bakit Naman Hindi?” from the Philippine adaptation of “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay.”
She co-wrote and released “‘Di Minamadali,” a soul-R&B collaboration with Thyro Alfaro and Soc Villanueva this year and just dropped the performance video of the song on ABS-CBN Star Music’s The Playroom on YouTube.
“Just In Case” by Trisha Denise is now available on major music streaming platforms.
